This cocktail is a showstopper—layered like the sky itself with deep electric blues fading into soft purples and glowing pink hues, just like the real northern lights dancing across the night. It’s light, bubbly, and refreshing from the tonic, with a tropical twist from coconut rum and a citrusy kick from blue curaçao. The grenadine slowly drifts through the drink, creating that mesmerizing color shift that makes people stop and stare before they even take a sip.
1 oz vodka
1 oz coconut rum
1 oz blue curaçao
3–4 oz tonic water
0.5 oz grenadine

DIRECTIONS
Fill a tall glass with ice.
Add vodka, coconut rum, and blue curaçao.
Top with tonic water and give a very light stir (don’t overmix—you want layers).
Slowly pour grenadine down the side of the glass—it will sink and create that layered “northern lights” effect.
Garnish with a cherry and pineapple wedge for a tropical look.
